Federal Zones and Land Gained from The Sea
Concessions, Permits and Authorizations can be acquired in Mexico to exclusively use and enjoy, under certain restrictions, Federal Zones [FZ] (strip of land adjoining beaches, rivers, lakes, lagoons, estuaries and natural deposits of marine water, highways and roads) and Land Gained from the Sea [LGS] (strip of land created by natural events or human action located between the federal zones and adjacent private properties).
Ownership to LGS can also be acquired through a process of disincorporation from the public domain (privatization).
